Heaven on Earth Cake!!! 🍒🍰

 

This dessert is light, creamy, sweet, and so easy to put together. It’s made with fluffy angel food cake, cheesecake pudding, cherry pie filling, and Cool Whip. Perfect for holidays, potlucks, family dinners, or anytime you need a simple no-bake dessert that tastes amazing.

 

Ingredients:

1 prepared angel food cake

1 package instant cheesecake pudding mix, 3.4 ounces

1 1/2 cups milk

1 cup sour cream, or plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 can cherry pie filling, 30 ounces

1 container Cool Whip, 8 ounces

1 tablespoon roasted almond slices, optional

 

Directions:

Cut the angel food cake into bite-size cubes and set aside.

 

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cheesecake pudding mix, milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

 

In a 9×13 baking dish, place half of the cake cubes in the bottom of the pan. Spoon half of the cherry pie filling over the cake.

 

Add the remaining cake cubes on top. Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the cake layer and spread it out.

 

Spread Cool Whip over the pudding layer, then spoon the remaining cherry pie filling on top.

 

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until chilled and set. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top before serving, if desired.
